The Vikings are looking for International Rugby Players from New Zealand, the UK and Australia to come and join us for a season. In their 50th Anniversary year, the Oshawa Vikings Rugby Club is as strong as ever and looking to just get better. Currently the Vikings men are in first place in the Ontario Keenan (2nd Division) Division while the Senior Womens Team have just won the Toronto Rugby Women's “A” Division Championship. To add to the successful year to date , the Junior U-18 Girl's team also won the Toronto Rugby Championship this past weekend. Earlier in the week the U-20 men's team were narrowly defeated in the Ontario Championship Semi finals. Much of this seasons' success can be attributed to the wide array of young talent that has come through the Vikings Junior programs as well as current juniors plying their trade with Ontario and National teams this summer.
Each of the following players have represented either the Province or Canada this summer and help to provide the cornerstones of the men's and women's programs for the future.;

“We are extremely proud of these young players and are excited about the talent they bring to our programs. The fact that they come from all over Durham (Oshawa, Port Perry and Uxbridge) also goes to show the extent of our programs here. We are not just an Oshawa team, we represent Durham at the highest levels” ,says Junior Director Chris Mckee. The Vikings continue to run teams at the following age groups: U-10 co-ed flag, U-12 co-ed tackle, U-14 Boys tackle, U-16 Boys (2 teams), U-18 boys and girls (League Champions), 2 Men's teams and Women's senior (League Champions).
